Candidate Terms of Use
For Students and Working Professionals Using LueinHire

1. Introduction and Scope
This Candidate Terms of Use ("Agreement") governs your use of the LueinHire platform and services ("Services") as an individual Candidate — whether you are a student referred by an Institute, or a working professional applying through an Employer or directly. It applies to you regardless of how you came to use the Services, including where an Employer/Company or Institute invited you.
This Agreement does not govern Employers, who are bound by the Terms of Service, or Institutes/TPOs, who are bound by the Institute & TPO Terms of Service. Where you were invited by an Employer or an Institute, that organisation has its own separate agreement with LueinHire; your acceptance of this Agreement is independent of, and in addition to, that organisation's agreement.
2. Definitions
- "Assessment" means any interview, test, evaluation, or other activity you complete through the Services, whether live, recorded, or automated.
- "Inviting Organisation" means the Employer or Institute that invited you to the Services, where applicable.
- "Recording" means any video, audio, or other capture of you made during an Assessment.
- "Score" or "Report" means any rating, profile, or written output generated, in whole or part, by an automated or AI system based on your Assessment.
- "Certificate" means any document or digital credential LueinHire issues to you on completion of an Assessment or programme.
- Capitalised terms not defined here have the meaning given to them in the General Terms & Conditions.
3. Relationship to Other LueinHire Policies
This Agreement works alongside the following documents, which are incorporated by reference. Where this Agreement and one of these documents conflict on a matter that document is designed to govern, that document controls for that matter.
- General Terms & Conditions: General Terms & Conditions — acceptable use, academic integrity, intellectual property, confidentiality, liability, and dispute resolution.
- Privacy Policy: Privacy Policy and Data Privacy Policy.
- Payments, refunds, and cancellation: Refund Policy and Cancellation Policy.
- If invited by an Employer: Terms of Service.
- If invited by an Institute: Institute & TPO Terms of Service.
4. Eligibility and Registration
4.1. The Services are intended only for individuals 18 years of age or older. You represent that you are 18 or older. We require your date of birth at registration, and our systems are designed to block account creation — before any Recording, Score, resume, or other personal data is collected — where the date of birth provided indicates you are under 18. We do not offer a supervised or guardian-consented pathway for use by anyone under 18.
4.2. If you were invited by an Institute, the Institute has separately represented to LueinHire that you are 18 or older, as an additional safeguard — not a substitute for the age gate in clause 4.1, which applies to you independently of how you were invited.
4.3. If we discover that we have inadvertently created an account for, or collected personal information from, someone under 18, we will suspend the account and delete the associated personal information promptly, consistent with the Privacy Policy.
5. How You Are Recorded and Scored
This section is the AI Processing & Recording Consent Notice. It applies to every Candidate, whether you were invited by an Employer or an Institute, or registered directly.
5.1. What happens during an Assessment:
Where an Assessment involves a video or audio interview, we make a Recording of you. Your responses, Recording, resume, and related data may be processed by an automated or AI system to generate a Score or Report.
5.2. Consent:
Before any Assessment that involves a Recording, you will be shown a clear notice that the session is recorded and AI-scored, and asked to affirmatively acknowledge this before it begins. This is a separate confirmation from your acceptance of this Agreement at registration — you are asked again, at the point a camera or microphone would actually be used, not only once at sign-up.
5.3. What AI scoring is, and is not:
A Score or Report is an automated output based on patterns in your Assessment. It is not a certified psychological, medical, or professional evaluation, and should not be treated as one by you or anyone who receives it. LueinHire makes no representation that a Score or Report is accurate, complete, or fit for any particular decision made in reliance on it.
5.4. Who sees the results?
Your Recording, Score, and Report are made available to your institute/TPO and or also to the Inviting Organisation that invited you to the Assessment, for the purpose for which you were invited. If you were invited through a Channel Partner arrangement, the Channel Partner does not receive your Recording or individual Score — see the Privacy Policy for what a Channel Partner can and cannot access.
5.5. Retention:
Your Recording is generally retained for up to one (1) year from the date of the Assessment, unless a shorter or longer period applies under the Privacy Policy, is required by Applicable Law, or is necessary to resolve a dispute concerning that Assessment. You may request earlier deletion as described in the Privacy Policy, subject to any retention LueinHire is required to maintain by Applicable Law.
6. Certificates
This section is the Certificate Policy. It applies wherever LueinHire issues you a certificate or similar credential.
6.1. What a certificate represents:
A LueinHire certificate reflects the outcome of a specific Assessment or programme, generated in whole or part by an automated or AI system as described in Section 5.3. It is not a degree, diploma, government-recognised qualification, or a certified professional or psychological evaluation, unless the certificate itself expressly states otherwise.
6.2. Sharing your certificate:
You may share your certificate with anyone, including a prospective employer who is not a party to this Agreement. Anyone relying on your certificate does so on the basis of what the certificate itself states; LueinHire is not responsible for a third party's interpretation or use of it.
6.3. Payment and refunds:
Where a certificate is issued for a fee, the applicable amount is as communicated to you at the time of purchase, and is governed by the Refund Policy, which explains that a certificate is generally non-refundable once issued.
6.4. Voiding a certificate:
A certificate may be voided under the Academic Integrity provisions of the General Terms & Conditions if we reasonably determine it was obtained through impersonation, unauthorised aids, or another violation described there.
7. Your Relationship with an Inviting Organisation
7.1. If an Employer invited you, your interview and Assessment data is made available to that Employer for its hiring process, as described in the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy.
7.2. If an Institute invited you, the Institute has separately warranted to LueinHire that it had a lawful basis to share your contact details with us before inviting you, as set out in the Institute & TPO Terms of Service. Questions about why you were invited, or about the Institute's own use of your data, should be directed to the Institute in the first instance.
8. Payments
Where you pay LueinHire directly — for example, a batch activation fee, a credit top-up, or a certificate fee — the applicable amount is as communicated to you at the time of payment, and is governed by the Refund Policy and Cancellation Policy. This Agreement does not itself state any fee amount, so that a change in pricing does not require a change to this Agreement.
9. Academic and Assessment Integrity
Your conduct during an Assessment is governed by the Academic Integrity provisions of the General Terms & Conditions, which apply to you in full, including the consequences described there for impersonation, unauthorised aids, credential sharing, and misrepresenting AI-assisted work as your own.
10. Suspension and Termination
10.1. In addition to the grounds set out in the General Terms & Conditions, we may suspend or terminate your account where you violate Section 5 or 9 of this Agreement, or where we determine your account was created by someone under 18.
10.2. You may close your account at any time by writing to support@lueinhire.com. Closing your account does not, by itself, entitle you to a refund of any amount already paid — see the Refund Policy and Cancellation Policy.
11. General Provisions
Intellectual property, confidentiality, disclaimers, force majeure, and governing law and dispute resolution are as set out in the General Terms & Conditions, which is incorporated into this Agreement by reference and applies to you in full.
Limitation of liability: LueinHire's cumulative liability to you is limited as described in Section 12 of the General Terms & Conditions — in your case, to the total fees you paid to LueinHire for the specific service giving rise to a claim in the three (3) months preceding the event, since neither the Terms of Service nor the Institute & TPO Terms of Service applies to your own account. Nothing in this Agreement excludes any right you hold as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
12. Term and Amendment
12.1. This Agreement takes effect when you register an account and continues until your account is closed or terminated as described in Section 10.
12.2. We may amend this Agreement from time to time. The current version is always published at this URL. Continued use of the Services after an amendment is posted constitutes your acceptance of the amended Agreement, except where fresh acceptance is required by Applicable Law.
